Born into a poor but music loving family, I grew up listening to Country and Bluegrass music. I picked up a guitar and learned my chords at the age of eight and started playing for anyone who’d listen. Not much for school, the only “A” I got was in music and art class. Inspired and instructed by Tommy Collin who lived in my family, as well as my good friend Lynard Sypes. Tommy introduced me to George known Mark Kent since grade school. I’ve been writing my own songs for the last 20 years. I paint homes professionally and when I’m not entertaining in clubs, I’m known as the “Singing Painter”, painting and singing all over Oklahoma.
